Valerie deKoeijer receives two grants in support of her dissertation project

We are thrilled to announce Valerie has been awarded both the Cultuurfondsbeurs from the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds (a major Dutch research foundation) and a Centennial Center Research Grant from APSA’s Centennial Center for Political Science and Public Affairs.

These two grants will support Valerie’s research, : “Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen?: Local Government and International Influence on Disaster Relief Outcomes”, on the ties between international development/humanitarian organizations and local governments and how varying relationships in this realm affect aid outcomes following natural disasters.

Please join us in congratulating Valerie for this wonderful and well-deserved recognition of her incredibly prescient research!
