PhD candidate Sabrina Axster published an essay in the booklet, The Changing Landscape of immigration detention (2023), published by the Oxford University Border Criminologies series. Sabrina’s piece, titled “Targeting Jewish Migrants and Unwanted Foreigners in the 1920s: The History of Germany’s First Immigration Detention Site,” is based on her archival research and fieldwork in Germany.
