Professor Richard Katz was jointly awarded the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award from the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR). The award is presented biennially to a scholar who has made an outstanding contribution to European political science.

The jury presented the award to Professor Katz “in recognition of his pioneering scholarship in comparative politics, his major contributions to fostering international collaboration, and his significant leadership roles in the profession.” More information about the award and Professor Katz’s career is available on the ECPR newsletter.
