Professor Dawn Teele Named 2025 Carnegie Fellow

Professor Dawn Teele was named a 2025 Andrew Carnegie Fellow, one of the most prestigious honors in the social sciences and humanities. The Carnegie Fellowship recognizes scholars whose work addresses most pressing challenges to American democracy. Professor Dawn Teele will receive $200,000 to support her project, Battle of the Sexes? The Gender Gap and Partisan Polarization in the United States, which explores whether the differences between men’s and women’s political preferences are an unrecognized driver of polarization in the United States.
