On May 1, he department honored the distinguished career of Professor Richard Katz, one of our longest-serving faculty members, who is retiring at the end of this academic year. The roundtable, “Political Parties in an Age of Democratic Backsliding,” featured renowned scholars of party politics in comparative perspective.
